Asham
Asham is the Sun God and the God of judgment. According to religious legend, before the world existed, Asham defeated the Goddess Miyat in an epic battle and forged creation from her body, spreading it out to form the dome of the sky and the boundaries of the earth. He then declared himself Lord of the Gods and judge of the world.
Asham punishes any who sin or transgress the Law of Heaven, Gods and humans alike. When the people of Apsuka Mayaka sinned by drawing the blood of Miyat, Asham punished them with the Cataclysm.
Today, many believe that sinners can avert Asham’s judgment by praying to Eyenki to intercede on their behalf. The complex relation between Asham and Eyenki forms the basis of much religious thought.
