DESIGN: I like how the sand fades into the page: keep it. Move the nav-menu stuff INTO the masthead, below the mountains, to the left of the title.

CONCERN: Are small numeral hyperlinks going to be amenable to iPhone use?

BOTTOM OF PAGE: Graphic with clickable Previous, Next, and (after ch. 3) pic of codex goes at bottom, but posted within the body of each page (so you can do individual a hrefs). Idea for graphic: (1) overlooking Libri’s outer wall; (2) desert dunes; (3) Harrappan cliffs. (Each part would have its own graphic! Part 3 will be tricky though, cliffs probably won’t work.)
